Before You Add a Tool, Ask This

Most systems don’t fail because of technology.
They fail because no one stopped to ask what the system was meant to support.

Before adding a new tool, consider:

  • What problem are we actually solving?
  • What process already exists — even informally?
  • Where is the friction really coming from?

Technology should make work lighter.
If it’s adding complexity, it’s usually revealing something that needs attention first.
